Bill: Communications Provisions Bill 4244

Details

Submitted by[?]: Volkskommunistische Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4245

Description[?]:

This is a necessary service in modern life. Without a phone or internet, the only method of communicating -- a necessary factor of life now -- is though letters, inefficient, expensive and sometimes not even considered.

In addition, many businesses and jobs will require phone access -- and providing this for everyone will boost the economy and cut costs.

Finally, this will take problems off the minds of the poor. A single parent, a struggling family -- forced to sacrifice food to purchase phone access just to function in modern society.

A good economy requires an in-touch society.

Finally: we can easily afford this.

MessageAre you out of your mind? This is way to expensive, also this would deminish the freedom of the market!

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
