Details
Submitted by[?]: Lutte Féministe de Libération
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2189
Description[?]:
Much effort has been made in the past few years to renationalize the energy providers of this nation. We fully endorse these attempts, and hope that a sizeable majority of Rildanor's parties will heed the calls of the people for nationalized energy. A brief outline of the benefits: -Energy can be provided at lower cost to everyone -Greater effort can be expended on ensuring energy is environmentally safe -The management of nuclear power plants will be done by a government board that, free from the requirements of profit pandering, can fully oversee and ensure safe practices |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Energy regulation.
Old value:: Energy is provided by private, unregulated companies but subsidies are given to those on a low income.
Current: Energy is provided by nationalised companies.
Proposed: Energy is provided by nationalised companies.
