Description[?]:
For too long this country has left the matter of the legality of abortions in the total control of regional governments. This allows the denial of abortions even in cases of emergency if the local government says so, this is insane. So this bill will solve this by completely liberalizing abortion. It has always been the belief of this party that women have the right to control and decide what happens in their bodies and that abortion is a medical issue and as such should be between a women and her doctor, not the state. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Legislation: 1) strips municipalities of the power to make laws on abortion. 2) Total legalization of abortion under all safe circumstances for the woman in question a) the safety of the abortion for the woman is to be determined between the woman and her doctor |

Message | We will vote against. There should be a no-return point during pregnancy to stop permitting abortions. |
Date | 18:02:46, July 24, 2017 CET | From | Front Gauche (FG) | To | Debating the La libéralisation de la loi sur l'Avortement |
Message | The FG believes that is a medical decision not a legal one. It is up to the doctor and the woman to say when it's too late in the pregnancy, not the state. Surely a party that values the autonomy of regions so much can also see the need for a woman's autonomy when it comes to what happens in her body. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
