By virtue of this bill, the Police Department (Policja) shall be established as the recognized, uninformed, armed and professional law enforcement institution within the Republic of Valruzia. The Ministry of Internal Affairs shall be responsible for the management, functioning, and modernization of the Police. The Police fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It shall be the exclusive decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs to appoint the General Commandant of the Police. However, the President of the Council of Ministers may at his/her discretion dismiss the appointed individual after consulting such decision with the Minister of Internal Affairs.
