Message | I believe the public has a right to know if a substance has been classified as harmful, to allow them to be aware of the consequences in case a company leaves it out to attract more business. Also, I think the local governments, not the schools should set the curriculum. I also believe that a content rating should be placed on a video game so that the consumers are aware of what is in the game. All others I am in favor of, and am open to arguments for me to change my position. |

Message | The information on substances will be available. We live in an age of information where the common man carries a device in his pocket which can access the breadth of human knowledge nearly instantly. Why should we restrict the advertising of dangerous substances? Is it not the responsibility of the citizen to choose for himself? The less government involvement in education, the better. As for video game ratings, the same applies to dangerous substances. The information on the video games is out there. The private sector can provide ratings for people who want them or more informed customers will be reading reviews and watching videos of gameplay anyway. |

Message | While you make valid points, I'm concerned for those who either don't have said device or have no reason to look it up because there is no information given to make them think it could be harmful. While I agree that government is a pain, I believe there should be a minimal curriculum set at the local levels and then give the schools the freedom to expand on it. Unfortunately, in order for that to happen, the option that says it is set by local governments is needed. |
