Voting deadline: April 4248
Description[?]:
Currently, our nation's healthcare system is one of the worst in the world. We plan to fix that through our series of healthcare bills, known as MurphyCare. Under MurphyCare more people will have access to healthcare and that healthcare will be of higher quality. Let's go through the policies proposed under MurphyCare Part VI: RECREATIONAL DRUGS TAX AND REGULATION Recreational Drugs are fairly healthy and may even be good for you, however, some are bad for you. As these drugs can cost a lot of money, it would benefit the government if we taxed them at 20% and the taxes will be redistributed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs (which will go towards the local government funding programs) and the Ministry of Health and Social Services. We propose that local governments collect these drug taxes and regulate which drugs are to be legalized. In most cases, it will be marijuana and cocaine being legal whilst ice and methamphetamines remain outlawed. This proposal will benefit our nation tremendously and should be passed. As from January 4247, the Ministry of Health and Social Services has stated that all "MurphyCare" bills do not require the signature of Adam Murphy but must have the approval of myself. Message | It is a waste of money for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to distribute the money. If local governments want to charge a tax, they can do it directly. The federal government should not be involved. |
