Message | "Citizenship is granted based on race/religion/gender." Which race, religion or gender? |
Date | 22:07:00, February 19, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Alcoholic Party II | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | By the way, that question is purely out of curiosity. There's no chance we'll support this commun-nazi abomination even once we understand exactly what its implications are. |
Date | 22:10:35, February 19, 2006 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | We support the following articles and would like to ask you to split them off: - 2 (child benefit) - 5 (defence industry) - 6 (power stations) - 7 (power grid) - 8 (energy regulation) - 20 (arms sales) Article 11 (Government policy on industry and subsidies to industrial operations) goes too far for us. But we would be willing to consider either of the following options: "Certain industries are owned by the state, all others are under private ownership" or "The government acts as an investor of last resort, by nationalizing failing industries that provide vital goods or services." (and preferably the first one). Article 18 (public housing) also goes too far, but we would support "The State provides public housing to low-income families.". |

Message | RSDP, we feel that you have betrayed the poor of Rutania by your concentration on International Treaties, thus we shall ignore your request. |

Message | OOC: Look, it is a common rule of practice that proposals in an omnibus bill which are supported by another party are split off so that their stances wouldn't be messed up. It's fair-play and has nothing to do with IC stuff. |
Date | 21:57:57, February 20, 2006 CET | From | Liberal Imperialist Party | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | I support article 15. That is all. RFP, why is any bill proposed by anyone with more than 1 article spam? Especially as you have proposed multiple article bills in the recent past. |
Date | 15:06:25, February 21, 2006 CET | From | Ultras | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | Think of this as saving time, and paper, so not only is it more environmentaly friendly, but it also cuts the number of civil servants needed. |
Date | 17:05:34, February 21, 2006 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | I shall keep your refusal to split off the requested articles in mind.... |
Date | 17:06:19, February 21, 2006 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | I'm forced to vote against some of my own stances, so thank you for messing up my coherency! |

Date | 14:50:32, February 22, 2006 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Patriot Bill |
Message | We shall bear these insults in mind, we were actually going to repropose some measures we think both the Ultras and the RSDP might support, but we shall not do that now. |
