MessageI agree that wealthy people should pay their fair share, however I do not feel that a 55% tax is quite fair. If you look at someone who makes exactly 100,000 JEL, taxing them 55%, they'd only make 45,000 JEL, and if you look at someone who makes exactly 70,000 JEL and taxing them at 41%, they'd only make 41,300 JEL....... So someone who is technically supposed to be making 30,000 more JEL, is only going to end up making 3,700 JEL more than the prior tax bracket. If you look at the increases in tax with each tax bracket, you'll see the increases go 6%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 7%, 14% .......
