MessageMembers of the Assembly,

Our new, fairer taxation initiative has generated more funding to spend on key areas such as health, transport, infrastructure and defence. Therefore we propose to spend a further 125 Billion Zardugals on these area.

Firstly to take parts of the health service back into public hands, so it is free at the point of delivery; secondly, to invest in new roads, trains, and rail networks to get this country moving again; and finally a comprehensive upgrade of our armed forces including equipment, ships, planes and combat vehicles, as well as a recruitment drive to boost numbers.

As soon as this spending proposal passes, we will begin implementing the dual economy system, which will bring many of these key areas back into the public sector and then start the rebuilding programme

I now commend this budget proposal to the house.
