Voting deadline: December 2064
Description[?]:
In the interests of public safety the Police are empowered to monitor any group with 10 or more people operating in a suspicious manner or that could become a danger to either themselves or those around them . Guidelines will be put in place for the Police as to what equates a breach of the peace or a danger to public safety. This law does not empower the Police to disband any groups of 10 or more without provocation, or without probable cause, however if it is believed that said group could become violent or breach the peace in some way so as to cause public disorder, the Police are empowered to disband said group in a peaceful manner. Should peaceful means be unsuccesful than the Police are entitled to use whatever means necessary, barring lethal force, in order to subdue those that may become a danger to either themselves or the public. |

Message | Too vague - How do you define a 'suspicious manner'? |

Message | I disagree, as I want to give no excuses to the police for "legally" attacking manifestations and the like. |
Date | 01:17:43, June 03, 2005 CET | From | National Imperial Hobrazian Front | To | Debating the Right of Assembly Ammendment |
Message | Perhaps one could add a clause stating that all gatherings must have a proper permit and that this proposed law only refers to assembly without the proper paper work done. |

Message | Then you would still need permission from the police forces to gather - it would only make gatherings harder as now some bureaucratic comes in. |
