Bill: Protecting Saridani Culture
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unie van Oranje
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4255
Description[?]:
The Unie proposes that Saridan lightly cut regulations on foreigners wanting to be a part of the Saridani Economy, and foreign nations wanting to establish embassies in Saridan. We believe that through allowing more skilled foreigners to reside in Saridan, we can boost the Saridani economy by having more doctors, entrepreneurs and physicists in Saridan. We do believe, however, that our government should have the right to deny skilled foreigners into the nation if their culture or nationality adheres to destructive nature, such as the Ahmadi culture. |

Message | "Quotas are based on individual applicant's qualifications." This would allow more skilled foreigners to reside in Saridan and contribute to the economy. |

Message | "Foreign nationals may seek employment but with inferior legal employment protections and benefits to native citizens." This would allow the skilled foreigners in question to have more jobs, and job security. |

Message | "Diplomats are exempt from prosecution for criminal acts but not from civil lawsuits, but may still be expelled because of criminal acts." This would boost the creation of Embassies in Saridan, as foreign nations would be scared away from setting them up without any form of diplomatic immunity. |

Message | The LvS is happy that the UvO has listened to the request of de staatspresident. We are a tad skeptical about the second proposal, we believe it opens the door to the exploitment of new citizens. Besides this objection, we would vote Yes, as it is sensible but strict. |

Message | We vote no on this. We don't need foreigners doctors. We have our own people for that. This bill just seems like civic nationalist tripe. We need white nationalism, not civic nationalism. |

Message | Trust me, the Unie van Oranje are no civic nationalists. We still oppose integrating non-whites and non-duntrekkers, as is visible by our voting on other bills. We simply believe that an increase in skilled migrants from ACCEPTABLE nations/cultures/races, as we mentioned above, will be beneficial to our economy. |

Message | We would vote yes to Article 3 and maybe Article 2 if there was; as the Alt-Right alluded to, more specific guidelines to whom we would allow entrance. Just banning Ahmadis while great. isn't far enough. |
