Message | I cannot vote for this bill because it will put us back into a budget deficit of 4 billion. |

Message | Members of Parliament, Look, I of course want tax decreases, of course I do! But this isn't the way to go about it. There are other places we can look to decrease taxes too, rather than having a sudden income tax decrease. I would much rather take a steady and measured approach and looking to cut taxes across the board, rather than just a massive income tax decrease which will lead to a deficit - again! Let's rethink this and cooperate. Brian Burgmuller Leader of the Republicans |

Message | Members of Parliament, A tax decrease, proposed by the left, is alway embraced with applause by our party, as we believe that taxes and spending should be drastically reduced. Thank you very much, Karl Hare, Whip of the BGA |

Message | Member of Parliament, I cannot think of a better place to cut taxes than for those who are the worst off in our society. The four billion dollars this would leave us with a deficit of represents only 0.5% GDP, I put it to the Moderates and the Republicans that that is a good point to begin at. As I have explained time and time again to the Republicans, a deficit is necessary for a healthy economy. Flossie Hambleton Secretary of State for Finance |

Message | Members of Parliament, Do the SSPB not recognise we have THE HIGHEST corporation tax rate in the Terra at 75%! We also have a luxury goods tax at 50%. These things should be addressed as well as massively cutting tax for the worse off. A $4bn BLD deficit is unhealthy come a recession. The people understand this and will vote out the Left Bloc next election. Brian Burgmuller Leader of the Republicans |
