Message | Mr. Speaker, We wholeheartedly agree with our esteemed gentleman from Royalist Action that political independence for the civil service is a necessity for the efficient and fair running of our democracy, and we must condemn in the strongest possible terms the crony politics that blight Luthori today. It is a shame, however, that the other parties don't seem to see any issue with having a civil service where it matters more who you know than it does your knowledge of policy areas or your skills and capabilities as an administrator, advisor or regulator. I yield. |
