| To ensure the protection of freedom of speech and opinion, to allow every viewpoint to be heard and to not leave the population at mercy of state propaganda the National Liberal Party hereby proposes the privatization of the media. In every democracy on Terra the media acts like a watchdog against government corruption and foul play and only by maintaining a free and independent media presence can a democracy flourish. |

Proposed: The government subsidises a national TV station for educational and informational purposes; other private non-subsidised TV stations are allowed.
