The problem with extradition isn't just cruel or inhumane punishment, it is also ensuring a fair trial, something we certainly can't enforce in other sovereign nations. An Istalian citizen serving a lifetime behind bars due to breaking laws which don't exist in Istalia is a crime in itself. We cannot let this happen. |
