Bill: DPF Economic Manifesto

Details

Submitted by[?]: Royal People's Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4259

Description[?]:

Honorable Assembly,

Cobura's economy needs to serve the people, not the elites who funnel money to the Zards. What's worse, I've heard that Zards in Egato have an easier time finding work than native Coburans. You can ask anyone there and they'll tell you that. That's unacceptable. Our plan will improve the conditions for the common people.

1. No international aid. If another country is in trouble, the gods probably want them to be. We shouldn't subvert their will. Those tax dollars should go back to Coburans anyway.
2. We need a baseline minimum wage in every kingdom, and must allow the kingdoms to regulate daily working hours. People in Dilganato can barely feed themselves after working twelve hours a day in a mine.
3. Foreign workers will not be subject to any minimum wage provision. Foreign workers may only be employed if it can be shown no native candidates who applied are qualified for the job.
4. Reciprocal tariffs need to be applied. It's a terrible deal if other countries can railroad us with tariffs and we aren't allowed to respond.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow role-play that seems to belong to the world of fantasy, science fiction and futuristic speculation.
