Message | We would disagree that the Head of Government is unelected per se. The legislature is formed through representational democracy and the people know the party's candidate for Head of Government - whether that be the Leader of the Party, or some other member of importance. Whilst it's true that they do not put a cross next to the candidate's name it can be assumed that they have factored in who they want to be in the cabinet when they cast their vote for the legislative elections. |
