Voting deadline: May 4259

Description[?]:

I. The Imperial Government, in accordance with the will of the people, sees it as its legal and constitutional duty to reject the revolutionary theory espoused by communist (Metzist-Leonidist-Kaminikist-Anarchist) individuals or political parties.

I (a). This is due to the fact that exercising this theory within the nation means the impairment or abolition of the fundamental democratic order set out in the constitution and associated laws of the land. Furthermore it jeopardises the continued existence of the nation and the established constitutional monarch, which is an institution written into the constitution - Namely, Article 2b which states: "The Imperial Crownlands of Hulstria shall be structured as a parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarch with a unicameral legislature.

II. Therefore, all organisations, including but not limited to political parties, charities and businesses, who profess to be communist in nature (Metzist-Leonidist-Kaminikist-Anarchist) are strictly outlawed in this country.

III. Furthermore, any communist party or organisation that is outlawed and does not immediately disband voluntarily will be dissolved in line with Article 9.2 of the constitution which states: "a political party shall be registered in accordance with the national laws and may be dissolved in case of inactivity or for violations of national law".

IV. Law enforcement agencies may be directed to ensure the above actions are carried out and assets of any parties found to be in breach of this law will be immediately confiscated by the state.

V. Any deliberate violation of this decision or of measures taken in executing this decision is punishable with at least six months in prison.

VI. This is a constitutional amendment and, as such, require a two-thirds majority vote to pass.

OOC: Game Rule 22.4.1 states: RP laws which, with substantial and convincing role-play justification, impose measures against specific parties or types of parties or characters and types of characters. This may include banning a party or arresting and punishing a character.

MessageI ask the Reichstag to understand the need for this law. Given the rise of violence sparked by communism around Terra and given the revolutionary upheaval it would cause in the Imperial Crown Lands because of our system of constitutional monarchy, this ban on such parties would make the nation a much safer place.
