| Message | We support ID cards to all citizens, but the carrying of them is not required. It would be like a passport or a social security card. we think every citizen should have one to show that they are a citizen. |

We believe that the current system is better than a blanket requirement for all citizens, but we believe in taking them entirely. And, of course, I respect those with differing opinions. |

The current bill does not state citizens are forced to have identity cards, it states that citizens are issued with identity cards on a voluntary basis...... meaning it's up to the citizen if they want a ID card or not.... |
