In order to satisfy the republican sentiment of newer parties with little or no respect for our constitution, and to show how understanding and democratic we are, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Richard I reaffirms our commitment to abdicate as soon as a successor is elected by the Imperial Synod. We will name no preferred successor and allow democracy to run it's course.
