Bill: D.d.l. 03/4262 - Exotic Animal Ownership Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Alleanza Radicale - NCD

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4262

Description[?]:

Mirella Tannarini, Minister of Environment and Tourism:

"The Government presents this bill to change a law which we think is extremely restrictive. The exotic animals always have been appreciated domestic animals and we think that we should not ban the ownership of snakes, spiders or other kind of pet, like Dovanian pigs or exotic birds. This could reintroduce also an interesting market, which however will continue to be controlled by the Government to avoid abouses of any kind.

Thank you"

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
