Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2190
Description[?]:
The PSS is concerned about the current limitations with our refugee act, and proposes that Likatonia show a more caring and inclusive refugee policy. We beleive that people have a right to a safe haven regardless of reasons for being displaced and our wealthy country is the destination we want people fleeing wars and civil unrest to come and settle. |

Message | Once again... this sounds like it is economically non-viable. While we have the potential for recompense somewhere down the line.... that 'down the line' part is the big obstacle.... because we have to pay for it now. And, again... "all refugees are welcome" is tantamount to open immigration. Morally acceptable, perhaps... but economically and socially.... suicide. |

Message | We cannot accept that refugees are simply a drain on society. Refugees when viewed as immigrants bring skills and are searching for a life of peace. AM PSS suggests that these are precisely the sorts of people we want in our country. As far as paying the way for the less privaliged we feel all wealthy countries have this moral obligation. Let Likatonia lead the way. |

Message | The AM AAP agrees with the 'idea'. All nations have this obligation... but they aren't fulfilling it. What we have, then, is Likatonia inviting EVERY immigrant in. We are not anit-immigration. We just think it should be reasonable... not an 'open border' policy. |
