Message | This raises more revenue and spreads the demand out more equitably. Hopefully the poor will benefit from an increase in spending in key sectors in our NEW budget. This should raise less hay. This is the only way to eliminate the current deficit. |
Date | 12:55:26, February 22, 2006 CET | From | People's National Unity Movement (RDL) | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of June 2189 |
Message | Sorry can't support the rise at the lower end |
Date | 14:19:04, February 22, 2006 CET | From | Devout Ecologists Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of June 2189 |
Message | I am only voting for since this is the fastest way to get rid of our deficit. There are other ways, like say.. cutting spending. But the CDP seems all too eager to increase spending and raise the budget and/or increase taxes like mad. |
Date | 20:38:41, February 22, 2006 CET | From | Front Canrillaise | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of June 2189 |
Message | We prefer to stick to the current tax system. If we are running a deficit then cut spending. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
