Message"Hello.

We have faced our worst result in 34 years. Liberalism is threatened left, right and centre. We have lost all of our state legislatures. We will rebuild though, like we have done before and will do again.

I would like to thank our campaigners, candidates and the voters for remaining with us. However, I would like to thank the voters of Beluzia for participating in this amazing tradition called democracy that our country holds so dear. Liberalism is always calling for change, and always change is good.

I, as Prime Minister will remain until a new cabinet proposal is passed. This may fall onto the Labour Republican Party, or it may fall onto any other party if and when the constitutional amendment is passed.

However, the Democratic Party do not seek to be apart of any new government, in any way, shape or form. We've strayed too far away from our allies, and therefore it would not make sense for us to work with them.

But don't get us wrong, we will still work with them outside the government to retain our social progressive values that we, the PRRP, Stanton House and others have worked for so long for, and we will make sure we hold any party who puts those values at risk.

I will resign as leader immediately, and the Electoral Commission will no doubt officialise the process and observe it to ensure we get a leader which is accountable to our members, and is not rigged. They will set a timetable for us.

This is not the end, it's been a 'kick up the backside'. After nearly 40 years in government unparalleled, it's time for us to have a break. To regroup and to remodel our strategy.

And I would finally look forward to give my good luck to the next Prime Minister of Beluzia, whoever it may be and from whichever party.

Thank you my dears.

Sara Longworth,
President of Beluzia."

MessageMr Speaker,

I would like to give thanks to my colleague Sara Longworth, who has served our nation as PM with pride, honour and strength. Although our party disagrees with the Democratic Party on economic issues, we were still able to pass common sense legislation by putting partisanship aside and forging a common consensus on other issues. We believe that we have left Beluzia a better place than it was several years ago, when it was mismanaged by conservatism and extremist neoliberalism. Neoliberalism still runs rampant in the nation, and we are successfully repealing these laws with the help of other reasonably minded parties. We hope that the Democratic Party will not have a sense of prejudice and we wish Ms Longworth the best of luck in her future endeavours.
