Bill: Re-Establishment of a State Religion
Details
Submitted by[?]: Mordusia First!
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4272
Description[?]:
Our nation was founded upon Hosianism and 60% of Mordusians follow that religion to this day. Engaging in spiritual activities also improves your mental and physical health according to scientists, so why aren't we embracing this religion? Under this proposal we will re-establish Hosianism as our national religion, but let people choose whether or not they follow it and to also have the government nominate candidates to become priests and ministers but allow the religious community to decide themselves. This will improve the Ste of the nation and the Hosian religion to which our nation was founded upon. If this bill does not pass we will have a referendum on the issue to decide on a state religion. Message | State religion influences others decision, for example, someone who wants to become a politician would want to believe the state religion to get more votes, rather have religious neutrality. This also puts down other religions, as many people would believe they're different, and feel less national pride. We will vote no if this enters voting. |
