Message | This law has little effect as our government effectively lets anyone reside here. But it will hopefully be enforceable in the future. |
Date | 22:59:12, September 15, 2017 CET | From | Parti Libertaraidd Newydd (PLN/NLP) | To | Debating the Illegal Aliens Bill 4272 |
Message | The PLN/NLP will have to vote against this bill. Whilst we would support expelling illegal aliens, actively searching for them expends too many resources and taxpayers money. Undoubtedly, should we find them, they should be deported, but most want a quiet life, and actively contribute to the economy - even if it is only small paying jobs. Amend this bill and we will support. Llachu Greenway PLN/NLP Leader |

Message | We disagree with the argument made by the PLN/NLP concerning the fiscal impact of illegal aliens. They claim they contribute to tha economy by doing small paying jobs, but this means they will not be paying much or any tax. We think the resources spent searching for illegal aliens will be worth it as we believe the fiscal impact of illegal aliens to the economy is negative. Gerald Wehnert President of Aloria |

Message | Mr. President, I understand your concern about the lack of tax paid by these people, we too believe that this is a problem and that the government should explore ways of dealing with this. However, our argument was that their presence increases the productivity of the economy, as more people are buying services from them. Whilst this may not help out the government as they cannot tax this income (which by the way most likely falls under 3500 Aloriks), it will boost the informal economy, which provides a poorer people with a way to make money. Thus, our argument is that, whilst it has a negative impact on the fiscality of government, the positive impact that it provides to local communities in encouraging buying and selling is positive. It boosts economic productivity on a local level - which is where economic reform ought to be made. Again, I would like to reiterate that were this bill amended, we would support it. Indeed, we hope that an amended bill is brought to this Senate as we believe that it is necessary to take action. We also agree with what the AFP said, and believe that part of legislation should be altered as well. Llachu Greenway PLN/NLP Leader Internal Affairs Minister |
