MessageHonourable Senators,

Whilst we believe that marriages should not be dictated by any form of government - marriage is a religious matter and should stay out of the government's hands - we believe that this legislation is better than before, and therefore we shall back it.

MessageFor the reasons given by the PLN/NLP we will also be supporting this bill, although we would look to amend the law in the future to separate government and religion.
