Message | The AFP is skeptical of Article 1, however we firmly support articles 2 and 3. |
Date | 05:01:26, September 18, 2017 CET | From | Demokratische Allianz | To | Debating the Economic Amendments Act |
Message | Through the appointment of the board and the head of the bank the government still maintains a degree of authority. However, we believe that to respond in an effective and timely manner to any threats or opportunities, the operation of the central bank must be kept at arm's length from government interference. Marco Gehring DA Leader |
Date | 06:56:28, September 18, 2017 CET | From | Plaid Ffederaliaeth a Rhyddid | To | Debating the Economic Amendments Act |
Message | We will withhold support of this bill pending the input of other members of the governing coalition. We believe this bill will most likely have a greater chance of passing with the withdrawal of Article 1. Seth John Prime Minister AFP Leader |
Date | 08:45:16, September 18, 2017 CET | From | Liberal Party (Plaid Ryddfrydol) | To | Debating the Economic Amendments Act |
Message | We support all three articles, but we do think this bill will struggle to pass due to article 1 but also article 3. Folant Owen ALP Senate Leader |
Date | 09:24:04, September 18, 2017 CET | From | Plaid Ffederaliaeth a Rhyddid | To | Debating the Economic Amendments Act |
Message | It is entirely possible that the bill could gain more support if Article 3 on striking workers was amended to allow sympathy strikes for closely related trade unions. We will support restrictions on strikes in either case. Seth John Prime Minister AFP Leader |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
