Bill: Energy Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Front Canrillaise

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2191

Description[?]:

We should relinquish the responsibility of power plants to the private sector because it is harder and more costly for the state to operate and build them. If the private sector has control over this, the government and national grid can just buy electricity from them.

With regards to the nuclear question: the government should not have an official stance on it. It should be in the hands of the private sector to decide whether or not they see it as a viable source of power.

MessageNo. Providing power is to dangerous and too large a responsibility. Look to the mess in California for a RL example.
