Message | Personally I agree with you. But most of my resolutions on approving the use of nuclear weapons for defensive purposes have failed. If we are against deploying theses weapons, we should at least have R&D on them so that we can better combat the threat of them, in the event they are ever deployed against us in combat. |

Message | I support this with some trepidation. If I hear that our military uses chemical or biological weapons in any threatening manner, I will lead the movement to ban all research. But I can see the wisdom in acquiring this information to help in health emergancies. |

Message | I guess you can see it like that. When I read "military purposes" I inferred that that meant weaponizing the gas. The military (nation) could still do research just not in the form of weapons production. Ill change it though. |
