MessageOOC: Why would you come in here and try to change the constitution with no seats, no party history, and without so much as a hello to the majority party-player? Makes no sense.

If you just want to change laws and have no concern with how they affect other players in this country or other countries, move to a country that has no history and where no RP is happening.

MessageThe past in the past. Although history is something to be appreciated, our eyes must be set on the future and it's time to start making some changes in the nation, a time to break with outdated ideologies and who knows create a new history.
Talmoria isn't MRL's playpen. And if it is allowed to us propose changes - much needed changes, by the way - in the Constitution, we did it. Now, they might not get passed, but at least a message was delivered as to what TLP stands for, and what are the basics of the reforms we will try to implement.
All due respect, we are here and we will stay here.
Furthermore, please accept our sincere apologies for not saying "hello" to the majority-party player.

MessageOOC: Yea that sounds like an apology.

The fact that you want to create a new history right after saying actual history doesn't matter shows that you're just here to bs. My party is going to make Talmoria a living hell for your party, since that's probably what you came here to do to my party (and maybe the Empire).

Good luck with your 'much needed changes' justified by . . . not even a pretense to any RP justification.

MessageWe do not care much about making either MRL or any other party a living hell. As we said, we are here to implement changes we find important for the nation. If you don't agree with it, just vote no and they won't happen, since you're the majority-party player. Do your thing, we do ours and let the game flow. No need to be whiny about it.

MessageHow are your changes important for the nation when they don't take the nation itself into account? How are head of state-appointed mayors, mandatory id cards, or state-registered dual citizenship "needed" in Talmoria's socio-political environment? Is there even any such thing as a mayor in Talmoria? Can you answer that question? I know that you can't, because if you could, you wouldn't have proposed your dumb "much needed change" in the first place.

Don't talk to me about playing the game because that's not what you're doing. What you're doing is taking a survey. There are many places on the internet where you can click boxes corresponding to your political views WITHOUT disrupting projects that other players have been working on for years.

MessageBecause your party is the majority party - actually, the only one until we joined the game - doesn't make you the spokeperson for the country's needs. Being a really young person as you are - after all, that's the only explanation for such a childish attitude - you probably don't understand much about state, government and how do they work. The people decide their own needs through election, so in a couple days we'll know which project of government do they like best.

That said, man up. In politics - and in life - you can't act like a brat every time people don't do what you want. Don't know if you ever heard about something called "opposition". This is not your playpen. You're not the one who defines what's the current "socio-political environment". And you can't have an answer for the questions you asked considering Talmoria to be yours.

Furthermore, we'll not argue with you anymore. Say whatever you want, we'll not waste our time on you anymore. Instead, we'll use it to bring better times, updated ideologies, and much needed reforms and changes in the country's policies. And let the people decide what's the best...

MessageIC: What your labor party is doing is not opposition. It's random and scattershot box ticking. The socio-political environment of Talmoria is defined by the political history of the country and has been documented by public opinion polling for nearly 3,000 years. I don't need to be a spokesman for the country's socio-politics to know that, I just have to read up on the history of our country. I've actually done that you know -- it's how I became the spokesman for the country's socio-politics -- you know, when the people of Talmoria elected my party to lead the country in back to back elections.

Indeed we will know whose program of government voters prefer in a couple days. And when you lose that election, I'm sure you'll abandon your random "opposition" and instead dedicate yourself to the country's needs as represented by the people's vote by, oh I don't know, READING about the country you're so confident "needs" your insightful "changes", right?

I know you will. I'm holding my breath.

MessageI really don't understand the reason for such aggressiveness. If that's the outcome of the elections, then it's great - after all, let the will of the people will prevail. We are not your enemies, and we don't even rule out the possibility of voting for one your proposals if it's consilient
with our ideology. And we're really sorry if we insulted you in someway. We're here to play our game, do what we think is the right and go on. If you're sure you represent the country's needs, and that elections will show that, then that's great, we're no threat to you. Haven't come here to fight with anybody. If our proposals sound "bs" or "dumb" to you, vote no and you won't have them passed. It's as simple as that.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "'The illusion of Pontesi nationhood'. The Serpent speaks. How can they say these things? How can they call our country an illusion? You can see it clear as day, these people won’t stop until they’ve destroyed us all." - Morgan Einar, former Pontesian general
