Bill: Patent Protection Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluzian Defense and Federalist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2191
Description[?]:
Our scientists and inventors are being cheated out of their hard earned labors by the lack of patent laws in this country. The inability for individuals or corporations to apply for patents causes great scientific achievement to be shifted to other nations that have patent laws. What is the incentive to invent new technology if you are not going to get any form of monetary reward? We should correct this law immediately! |

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation. |
