| Bill presented to the legislature by Her Celestial Highness, Grand Princess Akemi I It is hereby proposed by the Commission of Government and H.C.H. Grand Princess Akemi I that the state religion be reformed. The new religion, hereafter known as Reformist Kamism, shall become the new state religion. -Hereafter only five Kami are to be permitted to be worshipped. These are the Tentai (Celestial Ones) that rule over all the heavens and the earth. They are: -Amatubime, the goddess of harmony, the sun and the moon, of fertility and of love and of humanity. She is the central god of this pantheon -Houhisimiwemu, the goddess of war, the national guardian of Sekowo, the god of justice and family. -Yomitoru tamashī, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge and the guardian of the afterlife and of time. -U~ōtākingu, god of the sea, of natural disasters, of monarchy and of festivals. -Fushizen'na seishin, god of technology and machines and of civilization and peace. -When a person dies and their soul ascends to the afterlife they are judged by Yomitoru tamashī. If found on the balance more good than evil then they pass into eternal heaven. If they are found evil then they are forced to wander in the physical world as a Mijime akuryō, an evil spirit that causes murder and suicide and death and misery. After 100 years, or if the soul is purified before then, the Mijime akuryō is cleaned of sin and allowed entry into eternal heaven. In eternal heaven all are equal, rich and poor, powerful or weak. -Many Kami currently worshipped are Mijime akuryō. -The throne of Sekowo shall always be held by those favored by the heavens. Their rule is legitimate and supported by the Tentai. If a ruler loses the throne of Sekowo they have lost the favor of heaven and will be punished severely. Similarly a bad, ineffective ruler will lose the favor of heaven, and their throne. -A person must be Reformist Kamist only. They can not worship it and another religion together. -The Grand Princess and the Empress are the heads of this religion. This is the new state religion of Sekowo and all Sekowans must convert to it. |
