Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

| Mr. Speaker and the Members of the Presidium, I've come here on the floor today to call for a new cabinet for our great nation. I announce that I am stepping down from the Presidency. It's been an honor serving our great nation for past 25 years. I believe we are ready for new leadership. Our Purple Coalition colleagues in the Lodamese Nationalist Committee has been working very hard with us in keeping our nation running at its best and keeping us safe. I believe it is in the best interest of Lodamun to offer the Presidency, Foreign Affairs, and Finance Ministry to them. I propose my party should head the Health/Social services, Sci/Tech, and Food/Agriculture minstries as well. This is the cabinet that I propose for our great nation, one that I believe is in Lodamun's best interest. I hope that the Presidium agrees and we can continue to ensure the prosperity of the 2nd Great Democratic Republic of Lodamun. Joesph Mideen, President of Lodamun //OOC: Please ignore the name "Marcus Deneel" that it currently shows as Lodamun's Head of Government on the Nation Overview page. Assume it's still "Joesph Mideen" and that the cabinet members of the NGPoL are the same as they were before the latest proposal. I wasn't thinking and updated the candidate names before the previous proposal passed; I meant to update them for this one. |
