Message"So, any act to further make foreign trading easier and less restrictive is EVIL GLOBALISM? From my understanding, according to you, reverting to lower tariffs and less trade restrictions, which is more effective and economic, cannot be done. For if it is done, then GLOBALISM is achieved. In the opinion of the RCP, the Block Bloc is fear-mongering and strawmanning."

Message“I believe the concept of protectionism is flawed. If overseas produced goods are cheaper, let’s buy them! It will only force our workers and economy to either up their standards to compete with foreign goods, or specialize the economy to something Baltisia is better at producing.”

MessageLeader Adams,

Imposing tariffs on certain imports is the only way to stop businesses from moving overseas to pay less tax and selling goods back to Baltusia. We need to keep it financially beneficial to operate in Baltusia while still collecting the necessary taxes to fund public services and imposing tariffs on businesses who move away from Baltusia is the only way to do that.

If you have an alternate suggestion I would be very open to hearing it as my first priority is always to grow the Baltusian economy while putting the rights of people first and I always welcome opposition input on how to do that.

MessageWe strongly disagree with providing high levels of aid to countries in need. We would like to prioritize the wellbeing and stability of the great Baltusia, before interfering and investing significant amounts into nations enduring times of difficulty and unrest.

If we are looking to increase our outreach, develop new business opportunities, we propose to do so through supporting nations who do not need to be led to stability using our own funds.

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.
