MessageYou may tell Baltusian that you are not some globulist cablals, but try telling them that you are not trying to build an imperialist, un-Baltusian rubber stamp parliament!

MessageMembers of Congress,

How is having a Prime Minister imperialist? Indeed we has a Prime Minister only thirty years ago and it worked extremely well. This would make forming governments far more fair and far easier because it does not require the President to agree, this brings us away from personality politics and focuses power in the congress.

We will vote yes

MessageWe, the Block Bloc, are concerned that producing the Prime Minister's office, home to an unelected bureaucrat, will open to corruption from outside influences.

We vote no.

MessageCongressman Harpson,

Surely the Presidency is far more open to corruption than a Prime Minister would be, the President is a singular individual who can be easily bribed or bought out while the Prime Minister is a representative of the Congressional majority, the bribing of which would require the bribing of over half of all of Congress.

OOC: The office of 'Secretary of State for Justice is currently held by Keith Caroll of the RAC not Dan Harpson of the Block Bloc

MessageCongressmen Leonardo

Both offices are equally prone to corruption, but Presidents are elected by the people while Prime Ministers are appointed by a bunch of unelected officials who are usually bribed in some way.
