| Dagoberto Vigilante, Prime Minister of Istalia, introduces the following proposal: Whereas the principles of democratic representation are fundamental to the Istalian Republic; Whereas the reduction in Deputies has reduced the political voice of the Istalian citizenry; Whereas Deputies ought to serve their community without expectation of reward or recompense; and Whereas limited government remains the most potent tool for prosperity in Istalia; Therefore, be it enacted by the Parlamento della Repubblica Istaliana: -Members of parliament and/or government are entitled to a nominal salary only -The total number of seats in the legislative assembly: 635 |
