Bill: Healthcare Restructuring Bill 4290

Details

Submitted by[?]: Baltusian International Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4290

Description[?]:

Congress,

The right to life is an absolutely essential, and an inalienable right of the human. Not only do we have it protected in our constitution, but it is widely recognised across the Terra.

Whilst the notion of privatised healthcare had positive implications originally, it is not our parties position and we believe that the correct way forward is a Baltusian Health Service, with the option for an individual to choose to purchase private healthcare, whether that be pay as they go or insurance, as they wish.

It has been our longstanding belief that the BHS is a positive thing and it is also our longstanding belief that private healthcare is also a positive thing.

Therefore, ultimately it comes down to choice. A sufficient safety net and a protection of liberties.

I urge all to vote in favour.

President Webster
