Voting deadline: January 4292
Description[?]:
This bill created by the ministry of Defense is created to restructure the military in such a way that it becomes more efficient and prepared. We will give the military leadership more control over theyre own organisation and the soldier more power over theyre direct officers by letting them elect theyre own officers. As an addition we would like to add that the ministry is researching peacefull Nuclear fusion technology for medical purposes at this point and will give all findings to the designated institutions once the research is complete. The ministry of defense has stopped the active development of nuclear weapons and has only allowed small scale nuclear weapon research. If any member of the assembly has a question concerning the ministry of defense or the minister of defense this is the time to ask the minister. We will gladly answer your questions in the best possible way! Sandra Utricht, Communications director of Emilie Lehning, Minister of Defense |

Message | In response to the AfD first. We are not planning any budget increase at this time. We think the budget is suffcient for now to do the necessary work. If the situation changes we will ofcourse review the new scenario and adapt our policy on it. Emilie Lehning, Minister of Defense |

Message | Now in response to the NP. We have indeed agreed on a neutral stance. This neutral stance however which caused a decision not to increase the military budget has resulted in the development of nuclear weapons being shut down and researched being lowered. There is still research going on to the development of nuclear weapons but the development itself had transformed to a stage in which we needed more funding to continue, and because of our neutral stance and decision not to increase the budget the ministry could no longer afford the further development of these weapons. We have kept the progress we made to the point we stopped development secured and intact in case of a future coalition willing to continue where ours left of. I hope to have informed you well enough, Emilie Lehning, Minister of Defense |
