Bill: Budget proposal of May 4291
Details
Submitted by[?]: Partia e Reformës (PR/KM/RP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4292
Description[?]:
The Partia Libertariane e Qendrës (PLQ/EKK) propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Αυτοκρατορική Πολιτεία της Καλοπίας (Imperial State of Kalopia). As you can see, we have prioritised spending in education and healthcare. We have introduced subsidies for low-income earners to pay for their healthcare, whilst guaranteeing the education of disadvantaged children by paying for their education. This is all paid for by allowing the private sector to do its own thing on train lines and in airports - where, I would like to add, the Institute of Fiscal Studies for Kalopia has confirmed that the current public system is, and I quote: "inefficient to the point of embarrassment. Spending is focused upon irrelevant areas, and has not benefitted to the welfare of the Kalopi people." I also want to point out that if the train companies and airport companies are making money, they are generating money for the economy, which allows the government to spend more on healthcare and education. |
