MessageI have tried to make this cabinet fair, since the vote is fairly evenly spread throughout the parties, with the People's Populist front and the National Party gaining the highest number of votes, therefore we both have 3 posts each, whereas the others all have two each

MessageWhy have you proposed a grand coalition of national unity - is Telamon engaged in a world war? There's absolutely no way that we'll work with the Libertarian Socialists or raging communists.

MessageLSP has proposed to abolish the police - does anyone really think they're fit for government or believe in the concept of having a government for that matter?

MessageAs a Libertarian Socialist, referring to anarchist (mainly socialist), I obviously don't want any form of government or authority, so I agree with the National Coalition Party.

MessageIn which countries is it the norm that after having an election to choose a government every party forms the government anyway, what's the point of having elections?

MessageAs I say I have tried to be fair. There isn't a clear singular government in the congress anyway, so this is a difficult business. If you don't like it, don't vote for it

MessageHopefully this will act as a lesson because it shows how ridiculous and impractical ir is trying to get all of the parties to work together in a cabinet for no reason. The norm would be to try to set up a right-wing, centrist or left-wing coalition of like-minded parties - not anarchists, communists, centrists, populists and nationalists..

MessageThat's democracy, freedom of speech and realism. Don't get upset when things don't go your own way - at least try dialogue and negotiation. I reckon a National-PPF-NCP coalition is perfectly plausible, for example. Unless you prefer with two anarchist parties, one of which participates in elections with the intention of not entering government.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
