Those who have committed crimes has forfeited their rights to partake in the democratic process. Once they have served their sentence to the community they may be allowed to vote after a short period when released from prison. |

Current: Criminals who are charged with minor crimes are eligable to vote, others charged with serious crimes are not.
Proposed: Criminals released from jail are allowed to vote after a certain period of time.
