Bill: The right to perform an abortion
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Socialist Party of Hutori
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 4295
Description[?]:
We decided we could change this law to reduce the risk of abortion. Abortions are now established by local governments and there is a certain risk for pregnant women. Woman should decide on the fate of her child by the end of the first trimester, because we think that even the unborn child is a human being, especially if it is already more developed (after first trimester). |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Policy on the legality of abortions
Old value:: Abortion policies are established by local governments

Message | Mr. Hagerstorm Please remember to direct all your questions to the Speakers chair. Richard Riley Speaker of the Senate Mr. Speaker I can state without reservation to the Unelected National Conservative Party that the Royalist Party is personally against abortion, but we would rather the individual Provinces have the ability to make the decision for themselves. Message | Abortion policies established by local governments is very backward and a little dangerous. But we realize, that providing of certain power is fair for local governments and liberating, but we are talking here about human lives. Change of this law is not big intervention for local governments as changes of another laws. Viggo Hagerstrom Leader of National Conservative Party (NCP) |

Message | Mr. Speaker Local government are better equipped to deal with abortion policies then the Federal Government. They know their communities social views and expectations. The Kingdom of Adelia for example continues to outlaw Abortions outside of medical emergencies and in the case of incest or rape. Their Provincal government will likely Veto any changes regardless. Why do we force the views of abortions of federal parties on the local needs and desires when it comes to a community based issue like abortion. Isabel Owen Prime Minister of Hutori |
