Bill: Its a Hard World Act of 2191 (i)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Mouvement des Conservateurs

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2192

Description[?]:

This bill is to set the record straigth. The Nations social security or an enterprise his financial means are not charity, the workers in this Nation already have sufficient rights, if there are problems with wages they have the right to go on strike in order to meet their demands.

It is not the governments responsibility to provide a wage for those who can not find a job or got fired, it is also not the governments task to obligate employers to pay a certain minimum amount to their workers. Both are in the responsibility of the employer and the employee and in a free nation, they must assume their responsibility. The only thing the government needs to do is to provide its citizens with an efficient and well-running & protected economy.

We present this bill twofold, (i) will be the witdrawal of the international welfare treaty, (ii) will consist of 2 articles considering the minimum wage and the wage provision for unemployed citizens.

MessageThis we viciously oppose. The intricate social welfare safety net we have worked strenuously to create is what keeps famlies fed, employers under control, and jobs with a decent minimum wage.

This is yet another insult to the way of life of Rildanor's citizens. They will punish you for it with arms, votes, and resistance.

We hope very much that the DEP will realize that as a party of God, they can not support a treaty that would refuse to clothe the naked, feed the poor, and shelter the homeless.

Good Day!

MessageI'm voting yes for the simple fact that Rildanor shouldn't be limited in what laws it can pass by international treaties.
