OOC: Simply for RP purposes, nobody needs to follow it - this is just to create it.

Allowing a new faith to begin in the Jakan Cumhuriyeti - the Doğa kilisesi (Church of Nature).

BELIEFS- (the name of each belief is in the brackets)

- The Doğa kilisesi adhere to all principals set out in their one Holy Book: the yıldızlar kitabı (Book of Stars) - the Book was written by the earliest followers outside a forest under the night sky.
- The Doğa kilisesi believe in the power of Nature, that all humans came from earth and will return to it, continuing the cycle and life begins anew. (Tekrar)
- The Doğa kilisesi believe that all things are created equal. Harming any other living creature is considered the gravest of sins. (Eşitlik)
- The Doğa kilisesi believe that through peace, the world can advance as one. Adherents of the faith are pacifist. (Barış)
- The Doğa kilisesi believe that worldly possessions are unnecessary - they keep minimal clothing and live in communal housing. (Çıplak)
- The Doğa kilisesi believe in a one-ness with Nature; they ask its followers to cast off any negative emotions and embrace their surroundings. (Huzur)
- In keeping with their belief of equality, the Doğa kilisesi do not kill any animals for eating. Only animals that have died naturally can be eaten - and only after being prayed over. Meat found this way is generally frozen and saved for Festivals. (Açlık)
- They believe the Earth simply is. It was never created. It has always existed and no God was needed for this. (Olmadan)

RITUALS AND PRAYER
- Followers of the Doğa kilisesi favour silent meditation in order to feel at ease with Nature. The practice general happens outside at present, but in places of worship they tend to build with a topless dome so the sky may shine on them when they meditate.
- On the death of a follower, it is customary for the deceased to be watched over by his loved ones for three days and nights (or in the absence of a loved one, a keşiş will take this place). Burial at sea or a normal burial are favoured as one has came from the earth and water and should return to them to be 'renewed' and begin the cycle again.
- The Doğa kilisesi do not believe in deities, they tend to worship things that can provide life, such as the sun, moon, rivers and so on.

FESTIVALS-
30 December to 2nd of January - Yenilemek (Renew) Literally, the renewal of the Year. Any transgressions of the previous year are forgiven and forgotten.
8th-9th February - Doğum (Birth) The founding of the religion. It is celebrated by the making of objects to be given as gifts. At night the faithful gather under the Stars for a night of revelry.
21st June - Renk Günleri (Day of Colours) The brightest of festivals, the faithful decorate their clothing in bright colours in celebration of the beauty of Nature.
16th September - Kaybolan Gece (Night of the Lost) A solemn festival dedicated to those who have died and were unable to be buried. The whole day is given over to fasting.

STRUCTURE-
The most common are mere monks known as keşiş (monks). These are those who preach the faith to the common people and do their utmost to advance their beliefs. They dress in brown clothing.

Above the keşiş is the Gardiyanlar (Guards) who will, nonviolently, attempt to defend Nature. They are also tasked with dealing with conflicts of faith among other members. They dress in green clothing

The third tier are the Kutzal (Sacred) - for now they are without a home - if allowed to form in Jakania they will construct minor buildings of worship. They will lead sermons and hear the sins of followers. They dress in purple clothing.

The fourth tier are the Sanlı (Glorious) - they will head their faith in any of the various diocese and preside over the Kutzal. They dress in red clothing.

The fifth tier are the Piskopos (Bishops) - When the faith began, three stars were above those assembled and they agreed that of their Piskopos there shall never be more than 30 (3 stars x 10). Piskopos also dress in red clothing, but with three silver stars on their left breast. Each Piskopos will head several diocese and take part in the election of the sixth and final tier:

The Vaiz (Preacher) is the Head of the Doğa kilisesi - while any follower of the faith can become Vaiz he is usually a Piskopos prior to his election. The Vaiz serves for life and on his death the 30 Piskopos convene to elect his successor. All matter of scripture is given from the Vaiz. His word is considered religious law and the final say on matters of doctrine. The Vaiz wears white clothing with three golden stars on his left breast. The current Vaiz is Aydin Taşçı.

Emblem - The emblem of the Doğa kilisesi is three stars rising above an oak tree.

MessageIts not Hosianism - there's major differences; this Church doesn't worship a God. Structurally, however, yes - there's some similarities.
