Bill: Organ Donation Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Majatran Socialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2191
Description[?]:
Obviously organ donation is an increasingly vital procedure with the advent of new medical treatments. We feel that consent should be assumed unless otherwise stated. The majority of people dont mind giving their organs but dont bother getting a donor card. If we put it the other way around this will give us a massive increase in organ donations and save many lives whilst allowing those that dont wish to donate to keep their organs. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning organ donations.
Old value:: Organ donations are legal with personal consent.
Current: Organ donations are legal with personal consent.
Proposed: Unless otherwise stated, consent is assumed.

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed). |
