Description[?]:
Mr. Chairman, As we all know, Malgus Thaller, the odious human rights abuser and Kalopian tyrant, escaped from his jail in Dorvik several years back. It has now emerged he is living comfortably in Deltaria, where he is being feted as a star guest at the Second International Thaller Congress. May I request an update from the government as to how it has responded to this situation, and what discussions, if any, it is has had with the Deltarian government? It is the strong view of the Dorvish Communist Party that Malgus Thaller is an international criminal who belongs behind bars. Message | We are not looking to incite any further international incidents, and don't expect Deltaria to take a helpful opinion. We will be reconsidering this issue in the near future. Anna Strauss Dorvish President NP Leader |

Message | Given that Mr Thaller was illegally kidnaped and not given a fair trial and given the fact that he had relatives in Deltaria, our nation gave asylum to this man. Whatever congress he attends while here is none of our concern. Deltarian Foreign Office |

Message | Mr. Chairman, I agree with the Deltarian representative that the manner in which Malgus Thalller was captured and then imprisoned was unorthodox, and could reasonably be seen as lacking in legitimacy. But nevertheless, Malgus Thaller is an international criminal who belongs behind bars. Could the government consider asking Deltaria to hand Malgus Thaller over to some kind of international court sponsored by the World Congress, so he can face justice? Message | Given he was held in custody for approximately 3 decades, we strongly believe that he has served his sentence and will not comply with any request to have him tried before an international court. That being said, if he is charged with similar offences, we would consider handing him over to stand trial for those. Deltarian Foreign Office |

Message | Mr. Chairman, I am grateful to the Deltarian representative for providing his government's point of view on this situation. I would be still more grateful if the Deltarian representative could provide us with us with a full account of what involvement, if any, the Deltarian government had with Malgus Thaller's escape from jail in Dorvik? Message | The Deltarian Government has no involvement in Mr Thaller’s escape. An unknown third party was clearly responsible. Some years afterward, he presented himself to the immigration department from which he was granted asylum for the reasons already mentioned. It is possible he was here illegally well before we received him. Nevertheless there is no proof of this and the fact that he did present himself showed a willingness to cooperate with authorties. Message | If i may, as internal affairs minister i would like to show me deepest concerns regarding the stance of the Deltarian government. Malgus Thaller has not yet served his term. If he did he would not have escaped from his prison after all. It is an international criminal that terrorized the people of his nation and caused immense suffering for thousands of people. I as internal affairs minister would like to ask the Deltarian government to sincerely reconsider the extradition of Malgus Thaller. It is up to the foreign minister to send a request but if she does we would like the Deltarian government to cooperate. Arthur Goldreich, Minister of Internal Affairs |
