Description[?]:

Violence is a growing issue in any country. Here in Likatonia we must ensure that such violence doesn't reach critical levels.

The right to bear arms is a Constitutional Right that we cannot take away from out citizens, but we must heavily regulate it to protect the lives of all members of our society.

MessageThe only way to ensure the right excercise of the right to bear arms is by ruling out those who might represent a danger for others' lives in the future, such people with diagnosed mental illnesses as well as history of violent criminality.

We cannot risk our citizens by allowing all adults with a permit to carry a gun. This regulation is to prevent shootings like the one that occurred today at the Republic of EgeliĆ³n, such despisable action and a devastating event. Almost 43 dead people and 75 injured. We need to keep this sorts of events from happening in our country.

We expect all of you to support.

MessageThe current strict license conditions include mental health, no history of criminality, approval from a psychologist and the requirement to pass psychotechnic exams very periodically. This proposal is softening these conditions to just the two first ones, therefore it is doing the contrary of what the Democrats are defending.

MessageThese strict license conditions do not especify such exams and tests nationwide. According to certain sources these measures are up to the local governments. With this bill we reinforce these measures and bring them to a nationwide status.

MessageOOC: the in-game current value of the variable includes the wording "strict license conditions". Whatever can be understood by "strict" is more than to "not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality" - these conditions are not strict at all.

MessageThe DTD would like to see the DP'S sources claiming that the federal law is only implicated to states that wish it to be active.
