Description[?]:
The Kordusian administration is not responding to the proposals our government is putting forward to them. Therefore i as the finance minister will hereby present the plan/demands to the rat to bypass the governor and get Kordusia back on track. Kordusia will cut its budget by 20% in total over a spand of 1,5 years. This will be reached by the following: The Kordusian administration will get a 6 months deadline in which they need to cut 10% of their current expenditure budget. If this deadline is reached and the demand met the Kordusian administration will get a loan from the central government. This loan will be 15 billion DDO (The loan should be used to pay of debt and keep the daily affairs running) After this first 6 months the kordusian administration will get another 6 months to cut the budget by another 6% of their expenditure budget. If this deadline is reached and the demand met the Kordusian administration will get an additional loan of 10 billion DDO for the same purpose as stated in the first deadline. The last deadline will also spand 6 months and will demand a 4% budget cut. After this deadline is reached and the demands met the Kordusian administration will get a final loan of 20 billion DDO. This to ensure stability in the short run and to again pay of debt. The kordusian administration will also have to rewrite its laws to make its economy more effective and to remove the hardcore communist factors within it. The loans will have to be payed back within 25 years after this bills passing. Let me remind the members of the Rat that this plan is essential in the economic recovery of the province and that this plan is better than a massive 1 time bailout because it will bring stability to Kordusia in the long run by cutting the budget 20%. This will make managing the local economy much more manageable and will create possibility's to repay the entire debt later on. We urge you to vote yes and put this plan into action. Hugo Carstens, Minister of Finance |

Message | Mr. Chairman, We would have preferred a more generous arrangement for Kordusia, which avoided the need for stringent austerity measures. However, the proposal put forward here is better than nothing, so we will support it. Anton Weinreich General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |

Message | We understand the DKP however these measures are needed to get the Kordusian economy back on track for the long run. If we would have jut given a massive bailout of 50 billion DDO the economy may be able to imrpove for a few weeks but without deep cuts in the budget and strong measures to prevent this in the future Kordusia would not recover.
