| So, regardless of your in character opinions, we need a 2/3 player vote (not seats) to go ahead and join the war. I guess the Pres just forces it through. That debate means good RP, too. For context, we would not be declaring war: we would be joining a Security Council / World Congress effort to arm and protect a humanitarian aid project for the plague in Ostland. This would lead to war. For a proper summary, check either the Discord or http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=7663#p123927 Resolution 46, 47 and 48 all link to this as well. I'd recommend having a look at the Discord or speaking to stuntmonkey for more detailed info! In addition, the nuclear attack was technically only implied and is currently denied by the Dorvish Pres. |
